Booking a bargain

By leaving it to the last minute you can bag some real holiday bargains

but you need to be prepared to be flexible.
If you've set your heart on one area then you won't necessarily get a good price on your holiday.


Be flexible if price is the most important thing.
Sometimes changing airports helps - keep an eye on train fares to your second and third nearest airports... bear in mind it's all extra time and effort too - but sometimes you can save £100s by being flexible.

If you want a particular hotel though you should book in advance.

If you want to book a last minute holiday then you need to make sure you are ready to go.

* Check your passport is up to date!

* Check you've got the right date!

* Make sure you're off work

* Make sure the cat is being looked after

* Make sure you've packed
